No PStory Online o treinador pode se aliar a um dos 3 times disponíveis entre Valor, Instinct e Mystic. Cada time concede ao personagem bônus de vida, ataque e defesa em 6 elementos diferentes.
Bônus por elemento
Todo Pokémon possui no mínimo 1 elemento e no máximo 2, o bônus sempre será considerado para o primeiro elemento.
Ex: O Pokémon Steelix possui os elementos Steel e Ground, sendo assim somente o time Mystic possui o bônus com este Pokémon pois o primeiro elemento do Steelix é Steel.
